Adapt, adapt, adapt.
At first we didn't think we could live without gyms, the office, or childcare, but we figured it out. Many of us worked out in parks, Zoomed, spent more time with family, and admittedly probably ate a little too much pizza and ice cream.
It's ok to slow down.
Discovering meditation, enjoying an artistic hobby, or basking in the art of doing nothing, we've been forced into more calming mindfulness. These skills will stay with us forever. We can already see it in the clearer air above our cities!
Make compassion your passion.
We can either let people bother us or simply take a step back and recognize our shared humanity. At the end of the day, we all want to enjoy life. So if someone's wearing a body suit fit for a Mars landing, let them. You do you.
Prepare, don't hoard.
Uncertainty can be uncomfortable, and it makes us do wild things. Next time around, though, we can remember we don't need 7 years worth of rolls. We do need more sunny strolls around the neighborhood, though, so we don't go stir crazy.
Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.
Life is beyond precious, every breath of it. It doesn't matter if you've accomplished all your goals in life or none of them. The fact remains - life is more enjoyable when you make the best of it and say thank you often.
